(Don't miss the fascinating story of the town meeting on March 17, 1856!) In autumn there is spectacular Leaf peeping in and around Dexter. Along with pumpkin picking, apple picking and fresh cider. In winter there is snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling, ice fishing, sledding, hunting and much more. Join us for our annual Winter Festival and enjoy a weekend of township festivity. The family fun festival includes games and contests, snowmobile parade, Radar Run, Snow Sculptures, Horse and sled rides, kids costume parade, fireworks, evening dance, refreshments, and a whole lot of town spirit!

Pack a picnic lunch (Can be prepared by the Inn upon request) and take a relaxing stroll through wayside park where birds and wildlife abound. Visit Lake Wassookeag and Ronco Park. Here you will find a public beach, swimming and boat launch. Bring your canoe or kayak and paddle about our beautiful lake. In the evening take in a spectacular view of Lake Wassookeag at sunset.
Enjoy a golf outing at the Dexter Municipal Golf Course. A challenging 9 hole course with putting green, driving range and snack bar. Perfect for those wishing to add a round of golf to their vacation agenda.
